Welcome!

My name is Ileana Wade and I am so happy to be the 6th and 7th Grade ELA and Social Studies teacher for the coming year.

 

Most recently, I was a teacher, vice-principal, and then principal at St. Ignatius of Loyola in Los Angeles for many years, and before that, I was a teacher here at St. Charles!

 

I have been part of the St. Charles community for over 35 years as a music minister and truly feel that St. Charles is home.

 

I hold both my Bachelor's and Master's in Education from Loyola Marymount University and I'm excited to share my passion for reading and history with students.

I hope to see you soon at school or at Mass. I'm usually up in the choir loft singing for the 9:30, 11am and 12:30pm Masses throughout the school year, and the 11am and 12:30pm during the summer months.
